Founded in 2017 with the goal of localizing film coating systems, which had previously relied on imports, Kofitech has overcome countless challenges and successfully developed Korea’s first film coating system using exclusively domestic technology. This achievement has opened a new chapter in the country’s coating technology. Kofitech specializes in manufacturing high-quality coating powders for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical markets. With cutting-edge smart manufacturing facilities and stringent quality control, we have built a strong foundation of trust with our customers.

We are committed to deeply understanding our customers' needs and providing tailored solutions that drive their success. In 2023, we established a strategic partnership with Roquette Frères, a global leader in plant-based ingredients and a key supplier of pharmaceutical excipients. Through this collaboration, Kofitech is transferring its proprietary research and production technology to Roquette, accelerating our expansion into the global market.

  • Obtained Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000)

  • First export of Tabshield®, a domestically developed coating excipient, to the United States
  • Development of a natural film coating excipient
  • Expansion of the Hwaseong plant (Total floor area: 3,664.35㎡, 3 floors)
  • Investment secured from Korea Investment & Securities (DS Asset) and Seoul Bio Investment Fund
